For this project we were asked to design a logo and to incorporate it into an entrance way. After exploring the possibilities of carving and marquetry, I decided to work with my background in metal smithing, allowing me a greater range of expression. This decision enabled me to not only make a wrought iron gate utilizing the logo, but also opened up nearly endless possibilities through the utilization of pathways, stone walls, and landscaping.
